A seasoned entrepreneur and business owner based north of Boston, Timothy McCoy is the founder of the T. H. McCoy Restaurant Group, a company that manages several McDonald’s restaurants across Massachusetts. Timothy McCoy earned a bachelor of arts in sociology from Rollins College. He also participated in an overseas program through Semester at Sea and the University of Virginia, where he studied global cultures while traveling internationally.
Since 2000, Mr. McCoy has overseen daily operations for multiple McDonald’s franchises under McCoy Associates, Inc., where he manages teams that include supervisors and administrative staff. His work involves directing restaurant operations, staff development, and financial oversight. In addition to his restaurant ventures, he owns CER Management Co., a firm that oversees family asset holdings, real estate investments, and tax management.
Outside his business activities, he has served on the boards of several organizations, including Ronald McDonald Charities of Eastern New England, Brooks School, The Genesis Foundation for Children, and Merrimack College.
He spends his free time boating, fishing in Nantucket Sound and the Florida Keys, and playing golf. Timothy McCoy also serves as international president of Tralee Golf Club in County Kerry, Ireland.
